Trapper Perkins
Trapper Perkins turned pro
in 2001. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and
graduated from Kamehameha Schools. He then went
to the University of Hawaii. Trapper was named
the player of the year for the state of Hawaii
in 1999 and named to Volleyball Magazines Fab
50. He took a scholarship to play for the
University of Hawaii. He was named all-state in
volleyball, basketball and track since his
sophomore year in High School. He then started
to teach for the Aloha Academy of Golf in 2000.
Turned PGA professional in 2002.
Growing up with a
mother that was a babysitter, he was constantly
around children. He has a love for
children and a love for the game of golf.
Moving from Hawaii to California in 2004, he has
built Tiny Tees to the largest program in
California for children under 7 years old.
His passion for golf and love for children is
the greatest combination to teach children of
all ages. Trapper
spends a lot of his time expanding the Tiny Tees
Golf program to benefit children across the
nation. On free time (which is rare) he
enjoys outdoor sports, traveling, cooking, and
joking around.
